Ranch Hand

Job Description

We are a family cow-calf and yearling operation east of Sheridan, WY looking for a full-time individual as a ranch hand. Primary job responsibilities are handling, calving, feeding, checking water, doctoring cattle, vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair, electric and barb wire fencing, and capital improvement projects.

Majority of cattle work is done horseback. We are willing to train but individual must be fast learner and possess strong mechanical and problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, flexibility, and an ability to work independently and as a team player. We do not allow drug use of any sort and reserve the right to drug test. Background check required.

Housing provided however it is best suited to a couple or small family.
Personal horses encouraged, more than 4 will be run at cost.

Salary: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 DOE
