Full job description
Duties:
- Cattle feeding, calving, treating sick and injured livestock, vaccinations and weaning.
- Tractor and equipment operation and maintenance.
- Routine labor including barn cleaning, fence painting, mowing and weed-eating and fence row clearing.
- Hay harvesting – cutting, raking, loading, stacking round bales.
- Pasture spraying, fertilizer and herbicide application.
- Fence repair and construction.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must have livestock experience.
- Experience with horses a plus.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Experience with operating and maintaining tractors and equipment a plus.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to work independently without close supervision.
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
Job Information:
- Pay depends on qualifications.
- Hiring is for one full-time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- livestock: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Required)
