Ranch Hand in College Station, TX 77845

Topsider Farm is seeking to add a Ranch Hand to our staff team. This position primarily focuses on property maintenance, however, also includes working a few regular Barn Staff shifts as needed. At this time, applicants MUST be available Wednesdays from 7:30 AM – noon.
Our ideal staff consists of bright, motivated, hardworking individuals. Prior experience with horses and/or farm operations is required, as well as a strong work ethic and an open mind. Successful applicants are team-oriented self-starters who play well with others, use their words, and take pride in their work no matter how small the task. We operate 7 days a week, 365 days per year, rain or shine, heat or cold.
Routine duties of the Ranch Hand position:

Groundskeeping (mowing, weed-whacking, dragging arena, etc.)
Barn maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, painting, fencing, dirt work etc.)
Improvement projects (dirt work, etc.)

Routine duties of the Barn Staff position:

Handling horses (turning out, blanketing, etc.)
Feeding, watering, and giving medications
Cleaning stalls, scrubbing water tanks, & other barn maintenance tasks
