GROOM/RANCH HAND
Groom is expected to assist head trainer and all affiliates in carrying out the daily duties and ranch maintenance efficiently. Duties can include but are not limited to:
– Up to twice daily mucking of stalls and arenas
– Bring horses in/out of barn from pasture
– Groom and tack/untack before and after training sessions or workouts
– Inspect for abnormalities on horses
– Apply topicals, give medication/supplements, as directed or needed
– Feed daily supplements
– Clean tack
– Barn/ranch upkeep (sweeping, leaf blowing, pickup, laundry, mucking, weeding, raking, etc.)
– Perform heavy lifting as required for tasks such as moving hay bales or equipment
QUALIFICIATIONS:
– 2+ years equine, livestock, or ranch experience
– Must be able bodied, self-starting, and adept at taking direction
HOURS & COMPENSATION:
– Full-time or Part-Time
– Independent contractor, pay negotiable based on abilities
– Housing not included

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
