Job Description
Medieval Times is looking for a RANCH HAND to assist us with caring for our 250 acre ranch and horse farm in Sanger, TX!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with upkeep of the property including fence maintenance, cutting trees, and mowing
Assists with the feeding, cleaning, and overall well-being of the horses
Assists with the grooming and exercising of the horses
Performs additional duties, as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
Ability to work outside for an extended period of time in all weather conditions
Ability to use basic hand tools
Ability to use or learn to use farm machinery and equipment
Ability to work with and around horses
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 to 2 years’ experience working on a ranch
1 to 2 years’ experience working around horses preferred
