Job Description

Position Summary:

  • Assists Agricultural Assistant with loading, delivering, and removing irrigation pipe (hand lines, wheel lines, and gated pipe) to designated fields, as needed throughout the season.
  • Ensures solid-set hand lines or wheel lines are properly connected and conform to the needs of the field studies.
  • Assists the Farm Irrigator with various tasks relating to irrigation.
  • Assists with landscaping lawns and flower beds by weeding, trimming, spraying, and hand watering.
  • Assists with various other general farm and building maintenance, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience following directions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High-school diploma or GED
  • Drivers License
  • Knowledge and experience irrigating fields with hand lines and wheel lines.
  • Knowledge of how to assemble irrigation pipe and wheel lines.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift, carry and/or otherwise move 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
