Part Time Sales Agronomist in Basking Ridge, NJ
Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the Lawn fertilization and weed control market
– Provide agronomic expertise and recommendations to clients
– Conduct field visits to assess properties health and provide recommendations for improvement
– Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sales strategies
– Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in agricultural technology
– Utilize CRM software to track client interactions and manage accounts
Experience:
– Bachelor’s/Associates/equivalent work experience in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field
– Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the agricultural industry
– Strong knowledge of agronomic principles and practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
– Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, as it will allow for effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients
– Familiarity with agricultural technology sales is preferred
