Seasonal Farm Worker in Grand Junction, IA

Seasonal harvest help needed September through November. Heavy hours during the season exact schedule weather dependent. Potential to become year-round, full time employment for the right candidate.

Duties include operating late model John Deere tractors with grain cart and tillage tools, hauling grain from the field to various co-ops and ethanol plants using diesel tandem straight trucks or semi, light maintenance and clean up, and other various tasks required on a grain and livestock farm.

Candidates must have a valid drivers license, driving record capable of qualifying for non-high risk insurance, be able to transport themselves direct to the harvest site, and possess some on-farm experience. CDL is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
