Seasonal Farm Worker in Ephrata, WA

Job Description

Cloudview Farm is seeking a Seasonal Farm Worker to assist in general farm work. Job duties involve fieldwork including: general clean up, field prep, planting, weeding, harvesting, watering, installing/removing posts, or any other duties outlined by the Farm Manager.

Desired Qualifications

• Prior farm work experience
• Have an interest in farming or the environment
• Must be able to follow directions
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work independently
• Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
• Live locally (Ephrata/Soap Lake area a plus)
• Be available weekdays and some weekends
• Have reliable transportation
• Punctuality is expected
• No drug or alcohol use at work
• Be available for part time work (20-32 hrs), potentially full time (up to 40 hrs) at height of season
• Adhere to a daily schedule outlined by the farm manager

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and work outdoors in all elements
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be available weekdays and some weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
