Summary
You will assist in planting, pollinating, harvesting, threshing, shipping, weeding, preparing fields, preparing seed, sampling, detasseling, rogueing, and other field and seed activities related to crops and fields.
Job Description
May operate a tractor, combine, or harvester.
The majority of field labor activities occur outdoors.
May drive a company vehicle to bring materials and equipment to and from work sites/fields.
May operate farming equipment such as a sprayer or thresher.
Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the farms and assets.
Provide support for the client’s Safety program by adhering to all safety policies and attendance at regular company sponsored safety meetings.
Assist by carrying out other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
Must be able to understand verbal and written task and safety instructions delivered in English, and to perform assigned tasks accurately.
Must be able to adhere to all client SOPs and to support all site safety requirements.
Previous experience with MS Office / Excel and other standard computer and software systems may be required.
Basic mechanical ability / understanding of equipment maintenance (able to operate and trouble shoot equipment) may be required.
1-3 Years of Experience
Education/Training/Certifications
Highschool degree or GED

Must be able to pass drug screen.
