Job Summary:
The Stables Attendant will be responsible for the daily care of the horses and stables. If you have an interest in working with horses, this is the perfect position for you! No experience required. Help create an Experience of a Lifetime for our guests!
Job Specifications:
Expected Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.35 / hour
Shift & Schedule Availability: Part Time
Skill Level: Entry Level
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities managed by stables crew.
Assist Cook in filling/transporting full water cambros
Loading/unloading food and supplies for daily dinner rides, clean/dirty pewter dishes and glasswear to/from Conference Center.
Cleaning restrooms daily as well as snow removal when needed.
Take drink orders and make drinks for dinner guests. Serve plated dinners to guests.
Daily care for the draft horses including cleaning up the corrals as well as feeding them.
Snow removal from wagons/sleighs and loading blankets.
Assist with all stables operations as requested by operations supervisor, lead wrangler or stables manager as scheduling requires during normal operations. Duties will include helping with daily care and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
Business volumes require a flexible schedule, must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Experience working with little or no supervision
Ability to work in a nontraditional kitchen atmosphere
Previous guest service experience bartending experience helpful but not required
Ability to work and interact with employees from other departments
Additional requirements for hires under age 18:
Submission of a Parental Consent Form upon hire, along with other applicable documents required by state law; such as a work permit, physician’s note, and/or proof of birthdate
The expected pay range is $20.00 – $21.35. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
