We grow our world class watercress in the freshwater of the Kalauao Springs and distribute over 90% of the islands? watercress. Farm Operations Assistant
We need a hardworking, dedicated, and reliable person who can grow with our business as the assistant to our Front Operations and Field Operations Managers. This role would be a jack of all trades. You would learn all aspects of our farm business and with time have the ability to define your own role and responsibilities. Our business is evolving and we need someone who has a passion for learning, critical thinking, and is a proactive, creative problem solver to join our team.
Responsibilities

Package and prepare watercress for deliveries
Greet and load pick up orders for customers
Drive forklift to transport loads of watercress
Operate machinery to process watercress for customers
Performs maintenance and repairs on farm equipment as needed
Assist with deliveries
Facilities cleaning and maintenance
Equipment sanitation plan management and field worker training
Assist with basic office and clerical duties
Follow all food and health safety standards
Other duties as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications

Must be able to lift 50+lbs
Must be able to operate machinery
Must be able to drive a forklift (license a plus, otherwise we will provide reimbursement for obtaining license)
Must have drivers license, clean driving record, and be able to drive a delivery van
Must work well with others and be open to training and learning
Must have basic computer skills including ability to utilize Google platform (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Presentation, Meet, Gmail).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
