Job Description
SUMMARY: Tractor driver will drive and control farm equipment to soil, plant, and cultivate crops.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
- Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.
- Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.
- Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools; notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
- Operate towed machines to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops.
- Mix specified materials or chemicals and spray fields.
- Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers.
- Comply with all Safety and Food Safety rules.
- Other job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Must have experience safely operating all types of tractors used in farming; must have Arizona Driver’s License and be Certified as a Tractor driver.
