ASSISTANT FARM MANAGER – HENNING, MN – WEEKLY SALARY FULL-TIME
Work week: Mon-Fri & nights/weekends as needed
Job Responsibilities
Providing daily care for turkeys.
Following animal care and bio-security guidelines
Operating various types of equipment.
Basic barn maintenance
Assist with night and weekend checks
Assist farm manager as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must meet all bio security guidelines, must not own, care for or handle pet birds, wild or domestic poultry or hogs.
Must be detail orientated & have well developed written/ verbal communication skills.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to work in various environmental conditions including dust, heat, cold.
Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, nights and weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous poultry experience.
Previous management experience.
