WesleyLife is building a vertical hydroponic farm adjacent to Drake University as a part of our new Meals on Wheels campus. This farm will produce 20,000 pounds of fresh greens, with much of the day-to-day operations conducted by volunteers. These greens will be used for a variety of purposes including being served in our home delivered meals, at congregate meal sites, and at our Communities for Healthy Living. Our goal is to provide fresh and nutritious food to folks who are unable to access or afford it.
