Part Time Wrangler in Austin, TX

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated, outgoing Wrangler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have equine knowledge, experience in equine care, enjoys interacting with guests of all ages from all over the world, as well as exceptional customer service skills. As a Wrangler, you will be responsible for safely guiding trail lessons, ensuring guests have an amazing experience, and the care and well-being of horses on the ranch.

**Duties:**

-Guide trail lessons keeping guests safe and ensuring a quality ride

– Perform daily tasks related to animal husbandry and care

– Catching, grooming, tacking, untacking, feeding horses, ect

– Maintain cleanliness of the tack room, arena, and animal living areas

– Assist with heavy lifting tasks, as needed

– Follow all ranch safety protocols and guidelines

**Qualifications:**

-5 years minimum of equine experience

-Customer service experience

– Experience in horse husbandry

– Knowledge of equine care practices

– Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks

-Ability to work outdoors in the summer

-Responsible, punctual and reliable

This is a contractor position.
