*Bloch’s Farm is hiring a Garden Center Operations & Delivery Associate (Seasonal, Full-Time)*
We are looking for a reliable and organized Garden Center Operations & Delivery Associate to support daily operations at our commercial garden center. This position is primarily focused on assisting customers with loading mulch, soil, and hardgoods using equipment such as skid loaders and tractors, along with making local deliveries. This is a hands-on, outdoor role ideal for someone experienced with equipment and comfortable working directly with customers.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Customer Loading & Equipment Operation *
* Assist customers by safely and efficiently loading mulch, soil, stone, and hardgoods
* Operate skid loaders and tractors for loading materials and general yard tasks
* Maintain safe work practices while working around customers and equipment
* Keep loading areas organized and running efficiently
*Delivery*
* Load and deliver bulk materials including mulch, soil, and plant materials
* Ensure accurate, timely deliveries and provide professional customer service
* Assist with pickup and unloading materials as needed
*General Yard & Operations Support*
* Maintain a clean, organized yard and work area
* Assist with inventory movement and stocking of bulk materials and hardgoods
* Perform light landscaping tasks as needed
* Support overall daily operations of the garden center
*Qualifications*
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Experience operating skid loaders and tractors *required*
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Strong organizational skills and attention to safety
* Comfortable working directly with customers in a fast-paced environment
* Previous landscaping, yard, or equipment experience *required*
*Schedule & Compensation*
* Full-time, seasonal position
* Starting wage: *$25 per hour*
* Weekend availability required during peak season
