*Duties*
* Operate heavy machinery such as sprayers, spreaders, forklifts, loaders, and fertilizer trucks
* Assist with duties including spraying/spreading soybeans, corn, and wheat
* Conduct equipment repairs and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal operation
* Assist other team members during the day to day tasks to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
* Perform routine inspections on equipment and assist in any repairs or preparation needed
*Requirements*
* Proven leadership skills in an agricultural or farm setting
* Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing machinery or equipment repair skills
* Ability to operate heavy equipment including sprayers, spreaders, forklifts, tractors, and other farm machinery safely and effectively
* Familiarity with agriculutre chemicals and fertilizer
* Knowledge of welding, power tools, and general maintenance procedures
* Physical stamina for heavy lifting, long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions, and operating heavy equipment safely
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
