We are looking to fill a Farm Manager role for our facility in the Ipswich, South Dakota area. In this role you will be managing the day to day operations of a Hybrid Turkeys Brood Barn complex. Your farm operation experience will ensure that all farm processes are done according to established programs including breeding, quality, production & management requirements. Demonstrating efficient time management will enable you to run cost effectively while maintaining the integrity of the flock and production. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will contribute to successful working relationships within the team. Please see below for a more detailed list of task and responsibility.
* Responsible for all employee related issues including orientation, job training, safety issues
* Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards
* Ensure that good bio-security, flock health and proper feed management is maintained
* Manage logistics and supply inventory of the farm
* Ensure that all equipment is maintained and up to standard

*Do you have the following requirements?*
* 3+ years farm operations or supervision experience
* High School diploma or Community College or University degree in agriculture and/or animal science
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications skills
* Adaptable to change and able to work with people on many levels
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to handle moderate physical activity
* Valid driver’s license
* Ability to use a computer and needed software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Skype, etc.)

Compensation will be determined by experience, fit, performance and other criteria that will be made available during the interview process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00 – $59,000.00 per year
