Poultry Ranch Hand

Job Description

Team player needed for a growing poultry farm and processing facility. This position works both in the field taking care of our chickens raised on pasture as well. Experience a plus, but will train. What is needed is a good attitude, attention to detail, pride in your work, and eagerness to learn. Valid Drivers License is a PLUS.

This position is a rotating Monday-Sunday position with some days starting at 5am, some days starting at 7am, alternating weekends. Extreme weather may necessitate additional hours. Spanish speaking ok with some English preferred.

Duties Include:

* Feeding/watering chicks and broilers
* Cleaning coops, brooder, and other equipment as needed
* Movement of chickens in and between brooder, field and processing plant
* Assisting with the harvesting and processing of chickens
* General field and plant assistance
