Horse Stable Hand

Job Description

Horse facility looking for 1-2 stable hand/barn groom candidates who possess a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* moving and handling horses of all sizes
* mucking, watering and bedding stalls
* manure and hay management
* unloading and stacking hay–must be able to lift at least 50lbs
* maintaining a clean barn/facility/grounds
* arena maintenance and grooming
* property maintenance projects such as fixing fences, gate posts, and electric fencing, etc.

Previous stable hand experience and horse handling experience preferred but will train.

Eight hour and four hour shifts available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
