*Job Summary:*

*Shenandoah Riding Center | Galena, Illinois *Love horses? Enjoy working outdoors? Shenandoah Riding Center is looking for enthusiastic, dependable individuals to join our team as *Part-Time Wranglers*. Located in the scenic Galena Territory, Shenandoah Riding Center offers guided trail rides, riding lessons, camps, and special events while caring for a herd of over 70 horses. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on equine experience while working in a fun, fast-paced environment. *What You’ll Do *Responsibilities include:

* Lead guided trail rides for riders of all experience levels.
* Groom, tack, and untack horses.
* Feed, water, turn out, and bring in horses.
* Clean stalls, paddocks, barns, and common areas.
* Assist with horse care and daily barn operations.
* Help prepare horses for lessons, camps, and special events.
* Provide outstanding customer service to guests.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.
* Follow all safety procedures and Shenandoah Riding Center policies.
* Work as part of a team to ensure the health and well-being of our horses.

*Qualifications*

* Previous horse handling experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
* Comfortable working around horses.
* Friendly, positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor.
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Must be at least 16 years old.

*Schedule*This is a *part-time, year-round position* with additional hours available during the busy season.
