**Dryland Farm: wheat, barley, canola, legumes*

*No-till Seeding, Spraying, Harvesting, Trucking*

** Run Primarily CaseIH Equipment (Quadtracks, Tillage, Hillside Combines), GVM Prowler Sprayers, Pre-ELOG Late 90s Peterbilt 379 Trucks (Loud pipes save lives), Raven GPS. We Haul our own crops, Lowboy around Eastern Washington*

*Located in the hills of the Palouse Region. Along with this comes challenges in farming with the contours as well as rewards of great scenery and occasional wildlife sightings anywhere around you. *

*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES::*

** Primarily operating and maintaining Self-Propelled Sprayer, No-Till drills, Combine, Semi Trucks through the growing season. *Operation and maintenance of all farm equipment. *

** Self Motivated: non supervised, record keeping, crew management, coordination of logistics, ordering/ mixing chemicals, ordering parts, assisting others on various projects. TEAM PLAYER*

** Just like any other farm on the Palouse we work longer hours during spring work, harvest and fall planting. We like to cut back and reduce hours on work time during the winter. Family time is important as well. We don’t typically run our trucks on snow or icy roads.*

** would like to expand our use of precision ag on our operation and include our new hire in this expansion (if the shoe fits).*

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

**One season of experience operating a self-propelled or pull-type field sprayer, other farm equipment operation preffered*

** welding/mechanic education/ experience preferred but not mandatory*

** CDL preferred but not required to drive our trucks hauling our own products.*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
