We are looking for respite care for our dogs, chickens and cows. We travel for 2-3 nights every 6 weeks and need someone trustworthy to perform barn chores (feeding, watering, moving and monitoring) while we are away. Job is payed at a daily rate. $250
*Duties*
* Perform duties with livestock handling, feeding, grooming, and general animal husbandry to ensure animals’ health and well-being
* Operate farm machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
* *Follow safety standards in all production activities to ensure a secure working environment for everyone.*
* Proficiency in operating farm machinery such as agricultural tractors, power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment
* Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance, and operations (MRO) practices
* *Animal care expertise including livestock handling.*
* Ability to perform outdoor work comfortably in varying weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to farming tasks, and inventory management
Pay: $250.00 per day
