My listing isn't showing up — where is it?

After you submit a free listing it goes live immediately and you should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.

If your listing still isn't appearing in search results after a few hours, the most common causes are:

  • You chose the Featured plan — featured listings stay in pending status until payment is completed. Free listings go live right away.
  • The confirmation email didn't arrive — this usually means the email address was typed incorrectly during submission. Use the form above and include your listing title so we can look it up.
  • Search index lag — new listings appear on category and state pages immediately, but search engines like Google may take a few days to index them.

Your listing will stay active for 90 days. You'll get a reminder email at day 80 with the option to renew once for 14 more days.

How do I edit my listing or mark it as sold?

Check your confirmation email — the one sent to you when you first submitted the listing. It contains a Manage My Listing button that takes you directly to an edit page. No account or password needed.

From that page you can:

  • Edit the title, description, price, photos, and contact details
  • Mark the listing as sold (removes it from search results)
  • Remove the listing entirely
  • Renew it for 14 more days when the time comes

Can't find the email? Search your inbox for "FarmingWork Equipment" or the subject line "Your listing is live". If you still can't find it, contact us using the form above and include your listing title and the email address you used.

I think I've been scammed — what do I do?

We're sorry this happened. Here's what to do right now:

  1. Stop all communication with the person immediately.
  2. Report the listing using the "Report This Listing" link on the listing page. We review all reports and remove fraudulent listings quickly.
  3. Contact your bank or payment provider if money was sent. Wire transfers and gift card payments are very difficult to recover — report it to your bank immediately.
  4. File a complaint with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov and your local law enforcement.

Common scam patterns to watch for in the future: prices far below market value, sellers who refuse to meet in person, requests for payment via wire transfer or gift cards, and sellers claiming to be overseas or unavailable to show the equipment.

I found a suspicious listing — how do I report it?

Click the "Report This Listing" link at the bottom of any listing page. Select the reason that best fits, add any details that would help us investigate, and submit. You don't need an account.

We review reports daily and remove listings that violate our terms. Reported listings are not immediately hidden — we investigate first to avoid incorrectly removing legitimate listings.

How long does my listing stay active?

Free listings are active for 90 days. At day 80, we'll send you an email asking whether it sold and giving you the option to renew for 14 more days at no charge. This renewal is available one time only.

After the final expiry the listing is removed from search results. If you still have equipment to sell, you're welcome to submit a new listing at any time.

Featured listings follow the same 90-day base window but are displayed at the top of category and state pages for 30 days from the date of payment.

Is it really free to list?

Yes. Standard listings are completely free — no sign-up, no commission, no catch. You post your equipment and interested buyers contact you directly.

The optional Featured upgrade ($15) places your listing at the top of relevant category and state pages for 30 days and typically results in 3–5× more views. It's optional and entirely up to you.
