Harbour Ridge Equine is a privately owned, forward-thinking, high-quality GP equine practice located on a stunning 15-acre property in Palm City, Florida— just minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast and in the heart of SE Florida’s equestrian communities, we are a short drive to Wellington, Ocala, Orlando, and Miami, and not much further to the Florida Keys!
We provide ambulatory and haul-in care for a diverse clientele, ranging from high-performance sport horses to beloved backyard companions. Our team is known for practicing high-quality, compassionate medicine with a collaborative teamwork approach. *About the role/ key responsibilities: *
* Veterinary Services: Provide on-farm and haul-in patient care; including lameness evaluations, routine care, and emergency care. Access to an established lameness clientele within a well-defined service area.
* On-Call Responsibilities:
Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rotation. One night per week & one weekend per month.
Receive the subsequent Friday off following an on-call weekend.
Flexible workweek arrangements are available to accommodate individual preferences.
* Promote the practice and encourage participation in community initiatives.
* Assist with development and training of support staff.
*Compensation:*
* Starting base salary: $105,000 (full-time), negotiable based on experience and area of special interest
* Base Salary + Production Commission + After Hours Emergency Bonus
$175 per after-hours emergency call serviced
25% Commission on Professional Services
* If desired, partnership opportunity after 2-3 years, as business is privately owned and operated
