Bloch’s Farm is a premier, family-owned garden center located in the heart of east central Wisconsin, with over 40years of excellence in the green industry. Known for our upscale retail experience and exceptional plant quality, we proudly offer landscape design, installation, and maintenance services throughout the region.
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated *Associate Grower *to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing growing operations and maintaining the high standards that define Bloch’s Farm. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about plant health, production efficiency, and team leadership.

*Key Responsibilities*
* Oversee and manage all greenhouse and nursery operations, including environmental controls, irrigation, and crop health
* Monitor and respond to greenhouse conditions year-round, including weather-related preparations and system maintenance
* Direct production of retail and field-grown plant material, ensuring quality meets or exceeds industry standards
* Plan and manage inventory, delivery schedules, and future growing programs
* Supervise and support greenhouse and grounds staff in coordination with the retail manager
* Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing growing and retail environment
* Ensure accurate tagging, pricing, and weekly quality checks of all plant material
* Utilize software systems for tracking, labeling, and job costing as needed
* Maintain all required state and internal records, including pesticide application logs
* Interact professionally with customers and assist with plant-related inquiries and project needs
*Qualifications*
* Degree in Horticulture or related field preferred
* Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in greenhouse or nursery operations
* Valid pesticide applicator’s license (or ability to obtain)
* Strong knowledge of plant care, pest management, and growing systems
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
