Perform daily cattle checks to verify the health of the herd.
Saddle, ride, care for, and work from a horse.
Identify signs of sickness and malnutrition within cattle.
Communicate with management and veterinarian symptoms, sickness, and concerns in cattle herd.
Treat cattle with antibiotics and other medicines as assigned.
Move cattle in pasture from horseback, foot, or with vehicle.
Sort cattle for load out.
Move cattle with truck and horse trailer to other pastures or feed pens.
Check fence and water sources daily at pasture locations.
Assist fencing crew as needed.
Fill in on feed crew as necessary.

Required Work Experience

2 years of consistent work history
Ability to work in a team environment
Valid drivers license

Pay

$15 – $30 per hour depending on work history

Schedule

8am – 5pm Monday to Friday
