*Mook Sea Farm – Walpole, Maine*
Full-Time | Year-Round | Training Provided
Mook Sea Farm is hiring for multiple entry-level positions across our aquaculture farm operations. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking people who enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a team producing high-quality oysters on the Damariscotta River.
No aquaculture experience is required for most positions — we provide on-the-job training and opportunities for growth.
*Open Positions*
*Oyster Farmer*
Work on the river and in our packing plant helping raise, harvest, sort, clean, and pack oysters. This role involves physical outdoor work, equipment handling, and supporting daily farm operations.
Typical Schedule:
* Monday–Friday
* Generally 6 AM–2 PM
* Occasional weekends/holidays as needed
*Facilities Team Member*
Help maintain and repair farm equipment, buildings, boats, and infrastructure across our hatchery, processing facility, and river operations.
Typical Schedule:
* Monday–Friday
* Generally 8 AM–4 PM
* Some flexibility required
*What We’re Looking For*
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Ability to work safely and follow procedures
* Comfort with physical, hands-on work
* Attention to detail
* Team-oriented mindset
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Experience in farming, fishing, construction, maintenance, manufacturing, landscaping, mechanics, or other manual labor environments is helpful but not required.

* Wet, dirty, noisy, and physically demanding conditions
