We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Employee to join our farm. This role is essential for maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our farm operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm management and equipment operation. Pay is based on experience. Includes 18 days vacation/holiday pay.
Responsibilities
- Assist in field preparation, planting and harvesting crops (corn, soybean, wheat)
- Operate farm machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required for moving materials or products around the farm.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in farming and operating agricultural machinery preferred.
- CDL preferred, will be required to obtain CDL within one year of hiring, employer will assist in paying for costs of obtaining CDL.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for farm machinery is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing farm conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
