The Farm Equipment Operator is responsible for operating tractors, combines, and other equipment during harvest. This is a seasonal position operating approximately between July 1 and September 15. Position could possibly convert to Regular Full Time after the season, for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot as needed general farm equipment used during harvest, such as tractors, combines, truck and trailers, irrigation equipment, etc.

· General upkeep of equipment required, such as fueling, greasing, and removing debris.

· Cleaning of equipment and other areas as required

· Ensure work area and methods used in carrying out job duties meet safety requirements and company rules, policies, and procedures.

· Maintain an organized and neat work area, inside and outside of vehicles.

· Competent to complete legible service documents and logs for preventative maintenance tasks.

Critical Requirements:

· Must be 18 years old

· Must have valid Drivers License, farm endorsement a plus

· Light mechanical skills preferred

· Ability to pass a drug screen

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

· During harvest, must expect long hours – 12 hours per day, 6 days per week

Education:

· Minimum: High School Diploma

· 3+ years of experience

· Manufacturing, automotive, military, or recent trade school graduates with applied skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Woodland, WA 98674: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Farm machinery: 3 years (Preferred)
