Farm Hand/Laborer

Pay and hours are negotiable based on experience and knowledge.

Job Overview:

Performs general ranch work such as operating agricultural equipment, caring for livestock, mowing, baling hay, and other tasks requested by the Owners and Ranch Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Often walking or standing; frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to perform daily tasks
• Handling livestock; feeding, moving from pasture to pasture, etc.
• Safely driving a pickup truck and other farm equipment
• Keep notes and records on livestock
• Assist Ranch Manager in daily operations

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in handling livestock
• A good teammate – work well with others
• A valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Must pass Background check, Motor Vehicle Records check, and Pre-employment drug screening

Random quarterly drug test

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 – $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
