We are in search of a full-time Farm Manager to facilitate the daily care and management of our cattle, poultry, swine, and overall farm operations. The right candidate is someone who craves working outside, loves caring for livestock animals in their natural environment. We are looking for someone who doesn’t want a typical 9-5 job and is hardworking, dependable and organized.
*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Daily monitoring of feeding, watering, and care of all farm animals. This includes individual rotational grazing methods being implemented for our cattle, pigs, and chickens and their water systems.
* Help ensure livestock are raised in the healthiest, most natural environment possible. Keep an eye on animal health by identifying symptoms of illness, injury, and overall well-being.
* Coordinate transportation to the butcher based on a predetermined monthly schedule, and arrange pickups for livestock as required.
* Maintain fences, gates, Richie Water Systems, pastures, watering holes, and other farm facilities and equipment.
* Oversee daily farm operations, including supply ordering and manage feed inventories.
* Supervision of other employees on-site and monitoring of hours.
*Qualifications*
* Experience working with livestock and farm animals (preferred)
* Comfortable operating and maintaining tractors, equipment, and basic tools
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Positive attitude and go-getter mindset
* Dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated
* Able to manage responsibilities independently while working with a team

* About 21⁄2 months of regular farm work
* Around 41⁄2 months of high-intensity seasonal work
