Farm/Ranch Hand

Job Description

We are a family owned large cow/calf, yearling, and farming operation located in northeastern Montana. We are looking for a qualified farm hand to round out our crew. Farming comes first for this job.

However, ranch duties will also need to be done. Duties include but are not limited to seeding, spraying, fertilizing, combining, rock rolling, feeding, haying, and hauling commodities with semis. We raise wheat, barley, corn, trit, peas, and alfalfa. Will be running mostly John Deere equipment. Needs to be mechanically inclined. CDL would be a bonus, but not a requirement for the job.

We pride ourselves on long-term employees. Currently we have two hands who have been with us for 20+ years. Needless to say, this is a long-term position. We are looking for a self-starter with a strong dedication to teamwork, ambition, honesty, and respect. Family housing, utilities, retirement match, and optional health insurance are all included. Beef is provided to all employees. Starting wage will depend on experience.
