We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Farm Supervisor with an emphasis in row crop production and agronomy to lead daily farm operations and ensure our fields and crops reach their full potential. Why You’ll Love This Role

As the Farm Supervisor, you’ll:

  • Operate and maintain farm equipment to plan and execute daily tasks.
  • Lead field crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Farm Manager to establish daily and weekly work plans, assigning, coordinating, and monitoring tasks for all operations employees.
  • Schedule, coach, assist, and evaluate team members.
  • Oversee shop operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor crop progress and health.
  • Apply agronomic knowledge through seed and chemical selection, variable rate mapping, field scouting, writing prescriptions, analyzing field data, and conducting on-farm trials.
  • Collect and analyze production data to improve efficiency and yields.
  • Enforce adherence to all farm safety policies and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related agricultural field preferred.
  • 5+ years of row crop farm experience, including operating heavy equipment/farm machinery.
  • 3+ years managing and leading employees.
  • Strong understanding of crop production cycles, soil health, pest management, and agronomy practices.
  • Experience with precision agriculture tools, GPS-guided equipment, and variable rate technology.
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Valid Driver’s License required; Class A CDL and Pesticide Applicator License preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $48,000–$58,000 (based on experience and agronomy knowledge).
