*Duties*
* Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops using appropriate farming equipment and techniques
* *Operate heavy machinery such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm machinery and tools, including welding and basic mechanical troubleshooting
* Manage manual handling tasks like lifting feed bags, bales, and other supplies while adhering to safety standards
* Support animal husbandry practices including breeding, health checks, and general animal management
* Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and animal enclosures to promote a safe environment
* Proven experience in farming or agriculture with a strong understanding of crop cultivation and livestock management
* Supervising experience or ability to oversee team tasks effectively when needed
* Skilled in operating farm machinery such as agricultural tractors, power tools, irrigation systems, and greenhouses
* Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance of farm machinery, welding, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) tasks
* Familiarity with animal husbandry practices including livestock handling and equine experience preferred
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safety standards in production environments
* Outdoor work experience with manual handling tools, hand tools, power tools, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
* Knowledge of safety protocols related to farming operations and equipment use to ensure a secure work environment
