Job Description

*Position Overview:*
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated person to assist with daily livestock care and property maintenance. This role is ideal for someone with a background in agriculture (FFA, 4H, or similar) who is comfortable working independently and enjoys hands-on outdoor work.

*Key Responsibilities:*

*Livestock Care*

* Assist with the daily care and handling of cattle
* Monitor animal health and report concerns promptly
* Support feeding, watering, and general herd management

*Property & Grounds Maintenance*

* Mow and maintain clinic and ranch grounds on a weekly basis
* Operate and maintain equipment including tractor, mower, weed eater, chainsaw, and pole saw
* Perform general property upkeep and outdoor labor

*Infrastructure & Repairs*

* Install, maintain, and repair electric fencing
* Perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities
* Identify and address maintenance issues proactively

*Qualifications:*

* Experience working with livestock (cattle preferred)
* Background in agriculture, FFA, 4H, or similar experience preferred
* Ability to safely operate tractors and landscaping equipment
* Comfortable using tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, and weed eaters
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Reliable transportation
* Valid driver’s license
* Clean background

*Physical Requirements:*

* Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
* Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials

*Compensation:*

* Compensation is variable and based on experience, skill level, and productivity, with opportunities for increased pay based on capability and contribution

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
