*Job Summary*
Seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Barn Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care for our horses, managing barn staff, assisting with hay operations and maintaining equipment and property. Opportunity to attend and assist at dressage shows as part of duties. Travel to competitions may be required.

*Key Responsibilities*

* *Equine Care:* Oversee feeding, grooming, turnout, and medical care.
* *Operations:* Manage stall cleaning, bedding, general barn cleanliness, assisting with haying operations and driving horse trailer if necessary.
* *Inventory:* Order and manage stock of hay, grain, supplements, and shavings.
* *Scheduling:* Coordinate farrier, veterinarian visits, and staff schedules.
* *Leadership:* Supervise, train, and schedule barn workers/grooms.
* *Maintenance:* Ensure safe conditions and perform minor maintenance on fencing or equipment.

*Requirements*

* Understanding of equine health and nutrition.
* Proven leadership and communication skills.
* Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions.
* Have driver’s license and transportation.
* Experience driving truck with horse trailer.
* Travel to competitions would be helpful.

Based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
