Grain Farm Employee

Job Description

You will be a support person for spraying, planting, fertilizing, and harvesting. You will also be running farm equipment (doing more as you get experienced).

You will be trucking products to the fields and hauling grain during harvest and throughout the year. You will be helping keep irrigation equipment running as needed.

You will be doing shop work in the winter, which would include cleaning and detailing trucks, tractors and equipment and repairing and fabricating equipment.

In the spring irrigation maintenance and field maintenance will be done, which includes drain pipe work, tree removal and ditch bank leveling.

This job does require bending and heavy lifting at times, as well as climbing grain bins and grain legs.
