_About the Role_
Bouje Farms is looking for a hardworking, dependable Grow House General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you’ll support day-to-day greenhouse operations — from plant care and harvesting to equipment operation and facility maintenance. _What You’ll Do_
* Assist with planting, transplanting, pruning, thinning, and harvesting of horticultural crops and vegetables
* Monitor plant health and report signs of pest pressure, disease, nutrient deficiency, or environmental stress
* Water, fertilize, and apply pest or disease treatments as directed; follow all integrated pest management (IPM) protocols
* Monitor and record temperature, humidity, and ventilation conditions in the growing environment
* Operate and monitor irrigation systems; report malfunctions promptly
* Operate greenhouse equipment including irrigation systems, trimming machines, packaging tools, lawn mower, skid steer, and other equipment as required
* Perform facility maintenance including cleaning, sanitation, groundskeeping, snow clearing, and waste disposal
* Perform routine equipment maintenance: cleaning, inspecting, and troubleshooting basic issues
* Support inventory tracking of materials, supplies, and equipment
* Participate in team meetings and assist in daily task planning
* Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace

* Ability to operate — or quickly learn to operate — greenhouse and grounds equipment
* Basic understanding of plant biology or growing processes (or a willingness to learn)
* Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
_Schedule & Availability_
* Full-time position with a standard scheduled work week
* Flexible availability required, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs
* Hours and days may vary with planting cycles, harvest schedules, and seasonal demand
_Education & Experience_
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous experience in greenhouse operations, horticulture, or agriculture preferred
* Experience operating grounds equipment (skid steer, lawn mower) a plus
_Physical Requirements_
* Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and walking throughout the facility
* Ability to work in greenhouse conditions, including extended periods of heat and humidity
* Exposure to outdoor weather during grounds maintenance tasks
* Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted
* Repetitive hand and arm motions (planting, trimming, processing)
_Additional Requirements_
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must pass a pre-employment background check
