*Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Horse Farm Worker to join our team at our boarding and lesson facility. This role involves hands-on animal care, turn-out, stall cleaning and assistance tacking and untacking lesson horses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal husbandry, farming, and equipment maintenance, with the ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

*Responsibilities*

* Provide daily care and handling of horses, including feeding, grooming, and health monitoring
* Maintain stables, stalls, paddocks, and pastures to ensure a clean and safe environment for animals
* Operate heavy equipment such as tractors and the the Gator
* Oversee or assist with supervising staff or interns working on the farm as needed
* Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, animal handling, and machinery operation
* A.M. and P.M. shifts available and one week-end day

*Experience*

* Prior experience in animal husbandry, equine care, or farming is essential
* Supervising experience in a farm or agricultural setting is preferred
* Familiarity with animal handling techniques and general farm maintenance practices
* Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping are necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
