Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay: Starting at $19/hour with salary opportunities after 6 months based on performance and experience.

Position Overview

Perch Farm Foundation is seeking a dedicated, hardworking Market Gardener to join our farm team. This position is hands-on and ideal for someone who loves working outdoors, growing food and flowers, and being part of a dynamic regenerative farm environment.

Responsibilities
-Planting, cultivating, harvesting, and washing produce
-Flower production: seeding, transplanting, harvesting, bouquet prep, and field maintenance
-Bed preparation and seasonal crop transitions
-Weed management and pest monitoring using regenerative practices
-Irrigation setup and maintenance
-Assist with livestock care including feeding, moving fencing, cleaning pens, and general animal chores
-Prepare for and manage Saturday Montgomery Farmers Market Prepare for and manage Sunday Perch Farm Market Maintaining tools, equipment, and growing spaces
-Assist with CSA harvests and event prep as needed

Qualifications
-Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Comfortable working around and handling livestock
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-Ability to lift 40+ lbs and perform physical farm labor
-Prior farming, gardening, flower growing, or livestock experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
-Interest in regenerative agriculture and sustainable food systems
