Rix Farms Inc. Is looking for a mechanic/farmhand for their row crop farm in Groton , SD. Work will include repair and maintenance of farm machinery, and semi trucks for the commercial trucking business.

Duties may include field work depending on needs.

Requirements

high school diploma

associates in Diesel Tech or related field desired.

5 + years experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.10 – $21.80 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Groton, SD 57445: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver’s License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
