*Job Summary*
Morning Dew Cultivars is hiring for a dual position that will include both cultivation technician duties and post harvest responsibilities. This position requires work in both departments and will depend upon the daily needs of the business. This position is full time 40 hours per week. Pay is dependent upon experience.
*Duties*
– Perform harvesting activities using hand tools and equipment.
– Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of harvesting tools and equipment.
– Lift heavy loads safely during the harvesting process.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of harvesting tasks.
– Defoliation of plants as needed
-Bucking plants
-Follow all cleaning protocols according to SOP’s
-Cannabis hand trimming +1lb per day KPI, no machines used
-Packaging
-Futurola knockbox
-Labeling
*Requirements*
– Previous experience in cannabis a plus
– Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
– Must be comfortable on ladders
– Basic math skills for data collection and measurement tasks.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
– A passion for growing plants and understanding agricultural practices is a plus.
-A positive attitude and reliable work ethic is a must!
-Ability to pivot between cultivation and post harvest, there is no guarantee on hours spent in either department, every day could be different.
-Flexibility is a must!
