*Responsibilities*
* Assist with daily animal husbandry duties, including feeding, watering, grooming, and health monitoring of livestock such as cattle, horses, and other farm animals
* Operate heavy equipment and farm machinery safely, including tractors, forklifts, and irrigation systems to support planting, harvesting, and maintenance activities
* Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of agricultural machinery and tools using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge
* Support crop production through planting, watering, pruning, harvesting, and greenhouse management with horticulture experience
* Ensure safety standards are maintained during all farm activities by adhering to established protocols and using proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and equipment operation
* Assist with irrigation setup and management to optimize water use for crops and pasture areas
* Supervise or collaborate with other laborers on tasks such as fencing repairs, equipment repairs, or animal handling to ensure efficient workflow
*Experience*
* Prior outdoor work experience in farming or agriculture environments demonstrating familiarity with manual handling and heavy equipment operation
* Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within the team
* Hands-on experience with animal care including livestock handling and animal husbandry practices
* Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair, welding, and maintenance of agricultural equipment
* Knowledge of safety standards in production settings to promote a secure working environment
* Experience operating forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and irrigation systems is highly desirable
* Growing experience in horticulture or greenhouse management is a plus
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in maintenance tasks
* Hourly wage will be negotiated depending on experience.
