Ranch Manager

About Us:

Mims Ranch is a privately owned ranch located in Mulberry, Florida with roughly 10,000 acres, focused on sustainable land management, livestock care, and property operations. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ranch Manager to oversee daily operations, manage livestock, maintain equipment, and ensure the overall productivity and upkeep of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day ranch operations including feeding, watering, and caring for livestock
• Oversee pasture rotation, fencing, and land maintenance
• Operate and maintain farm equipment and vehicles
• Supervise seasonal and full-time ranch staff (if applicable)
• Monitor herd health and coordinate with veterinarians as needed
• Maintain accurate records of livestock, feed inventory, and ranch expenses
• Coordinate supply purchases and manage vendor relationships
• Ensure safety protocols and environmental practices are followed

Qualifications:

• Prior ranch or farm management experience required
• Strong knowledge of cattle
• Ability to operate and maintain tractors, UTVs, and other ranch equipment
• Physically fit and able to perform outdoor labor in varying conditions
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Will be working alone and with a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Year round work

Work Location: In person
