R. Pepin and Sons Inc. is looking for Class A/B commercial drivers to drive a Ready Mix Concrete Truck (automatic transmission). All trucks are front discharge making them easier to operate. We provide training for drivers who do not have experience. Drivers need to have a valid DOT medical card.
This job is full time and year round with great company benefits including a 401K plan with strong company match (4%) and excellent health insurance plan. We pay an hourly wage, with overtime over 40 hrs., and paychecks given weekly. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 6:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.
For 9-10 months, expect to work between 45-55 hrs./wk. In the winter for 2-3 months expect to work between 40-45 hrs./week. Additional opportunities for overtime in the winter are available. Drivers who want to get laid off in the winter or work part time in the winter may also have that option. We primarily work Monday-Friday (6:30 AM – 4:00 P.M.) and about (2) Saturday mornings or more depending on loads (6AM -9:30AM) per month. We do not work Saturdays December – May.
There is strong opportunity to drive other trucks and equipment over time here including Tri-Axle Dump Trucks, Trailer Dumps, Precast Concrete Boom Trucks, Front-End-Loaders, and Excavators. There is also strong opportunity to increase pay over time.
We provide tools and you will not need to provide your own.
