*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand/Stall Cleaner to join our team. Must not be afraid of hard work. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and experience in maintaining a clean and safe environment for horses and other livestock. This role involves various tasks related to animal husbandry, equipment operation, and general maintenance of the stable facilities.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide daily care for horses.
* Maintain cleanliness of stalls, paddocks, and common areas to ensure a safe environment for animals.
* Operate farm machinery and heavy equipment safely for tasks such as moving feed or cleaning areas.
* Assist with the maintenance of the garden and surrounding landscape to promote a healthy environment.
* Utilize hand tools for various maintenance tasks around the stable facility.
*Requirements*
* Experience with horses. (if your resume doesn’t show any experience we won’t be contacting you.)
* Ability to operate tractors and other heavy equipment safely is desirable.
* Proficiency in using hand tools for maintenance tasks is essential.
* Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy loads as needed.
* A commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
* Willingness to learn new skills related to animal care and facility maintenance.
* Being able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
* Weekends and holidays are required.
