We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Tech-Handyman for a farm and dairy production plant environment, dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the farm’s infrastructure, equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply mechanical skills, and hands-on expertise in a lively outdoor setting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our farm and plant while ensuring the well-being of our animals and the integrity of our equipment. This position provides a chance to grow your skills in a thriving agricultural setting with a focus on dairy production at BOTH our long valley facility and Easton yogurt plant.

*Responsibilities*

* Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on equipment using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical and electric knowledge.
* our equipment varies from reefer trucks to motors on cheese vats to heater heads on jar sealer to endless minor repairs needed in a working facility.
* Operate machinery such as forklifts and other farm equipment safely and efficiently to support daily operations.

*Skills*

* Strong Mechanical aptitude with expertise in equipment repair, maintenance of machinery, and MRO (maintenance, repair & operations).
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to farming activities, and inventory management.
