*Position Overview: *We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tractor/Equipment Technician to join our team at Springdale Tractor Co. As a vital member of our service department, the Technician will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of agricultural machinery and equipment within our newly remodeled, airconditioned shop! The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

*Responsibilities:*

* Conduct thorough diagnostics on tractors, agricultural equipment, and related machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems, using hand and power tools, as well as specialized diagnostic equipment.
* Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete repairs in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
* Keep accurate records of services performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional relevant information.
* Provide clear and concise explanations to customers regarding the nature of repairs, estimated timelines, and associated costs.
* Stay informed about industry advancements and updates through continuous training and professional development.

*Qualifications:*

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or certification in diesel mechanics or related field is a plus.
* Proven experience as a Tractor/Equipment Technician or similar role in the agricultural industry.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and address complex mechanical issues.
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as computerized diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Physical ability to lift heavy equipment parts and work in various weather conditions.

*$25 – $55 an hour depending on brand knowledge and experience!*
